What happens to your enquiry

The calculator and enquiry form work in your browser. Entering details does not submit them to a website enquiry database. The form prepares a WhatsApp link containing your project details and any contact details you enter.

Opening that link shares its contents with WhatsApp, even before you press Send. Our business receives the message when you send it in WhatsApp. We use the details and any photos you choose to send to discuss, assess and respond to your project. You can use email instead. Please avoid unnecessary sensitive information.

Why we use data

We process quote and service requests to take steps at your request before a contract, or to perform a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). General correspondence and necessary website operation and security rely on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and providing a reliable service (Article 6(1)(f)). Applicable accounting or other legal duties rely on Article 6(1)(c).

The calculator provides an estimate; we do not use it to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects or to profile visitors for marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiry information is kept only as long as needed to answer and follow up the request. If it leads to a quote, contract or invoice, relevant records may need to be retained for applicable legal obligations and the establishment or defence of claims. Information no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.

Hosting, WhatsApp and international processing

The hosting platform and its Cloudflare infrastructure process technical request information, such as IP address, browser information and request time, to deliver and protect the website. WhatsApp processes information when you use its service. These providers may process data outside the EEA under the arrangements and safeguards described in their policies.

Cookies and browser storage

Our site code does not add advertising or analytics trackers. It uses local storage for the selected language (paintbold-language) and session storage to remember whether the WhatsApp invitation has been shown (landmark-photo-prompt-seen). These entries contain preferences, not your enquiry text.

Language storage remains until you clear site data; the session entry lasts for the browser tab session. You can remove them in your browser settings. Hosting and security services may use necessary technical cookies or similar mechanisms under their own policies.

Your choices and rights

Contact marbella@windowcleaners.es to request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or to object, where applicable. We may need proportionate information to confirm your identity. You can also complain to the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).

Enquiry details are provided voluntarily, but we need enough information to respond. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing list.
